  2. Enter your comment
    in the normal comment area on the page

  3. Submit the comment
    on the site as usual
    (nothing to do)

Installation

Click on the icon below to download and install the Firefox extension.

After installing, please restart Mozilla Firefox.
You will be automatically redirected to coComment.

Features:
  • Automatically enables coComment on supported blogs (bookmarklet no longer needed)
  • Notifies you if you have new comments in 'Your conversations'

If the following warning appears at the top of the page, click "Edit Options", "Allow", "Close".
Then, click the install link again.

Requirements

Tested with Firefox 3.0.1 on Windows XP Mac X 10.4.5 Suse Linux 10. Works with Flock and other Mozilla browsers like Seamonkey. Feedback is welcome

Update to a new version

Update your extension to the newest available:

  1. In the Firefox menu "Tools", click on "Extensions". The extensions window appears
  2. Click on "coComment" and then click the "Find updates" button.
  3. Click the "OK" button in the confirmation window.
  4. Close the extensions window, then close all Firefox windows and restart the browser.

How to uninstall

Use the standard uninstall procedure of the browser:

  1. In the Firefox menu "Tools", click on "Extensions". The extensions window appears
  2. Click on "coComment" and then click on the "Uninstall" button.
  3. Click on the "OK" button in the confirmation window.
  4. Close the extensions window, then close all Firefox windows and restart the browser.
