What is tracking?

coComment will follow every conversation in which you participate; as a viewer or commenter. coComment will notify you of every update to your tracked conversations and will display them in your MyConversations page.

How am I notified when others comment?

coComment can notify you when others comment in your tracked conversations in several ways.

• Just take a look at browser's status bar. If you see the envelope icon in your Browser status bar then a conversation has been updated. Click on the icon and you will go to MyConversations where the updated conversations are shown in bold.
  
  

  

• Open the coComment sidebar and all your conversations are available to you. Select View > Sidebar > coComment from your browser menu.
  
  

  

• You have restricted access to browsers but still need to check updates on your favorite blogs? We have solution for you - coComment Google Desktop Gadget This tool is integrated to Google Desktop and can show all your tracked conversations, their comments and certainly notify you about new comments marking conversations by yellow bold. We provide RSS feeds for conversations, sites, commenters, groups and specific tags... you control how you get the data and can view it using any reader.

Where & How to track conversation?

It's easy... simply install the extension and everywhere you comment coComment will capture your comments and automatically start tracking the conversation to notify you of any responses.

You can also track without commenting by clicking on the options under the comment window and selecting Track.

Note that if the site is using coComment to power conversations, the coCobar is not displayed and the track button is located just bellow the textarea.

From our website. On CoComment site find any Conversation you like.

Click "Track" icon left from title and this conversation will appear in your list immediately!

Remember: it doesn't matter what way you track a conversation! You can be just a reader but notified of all new comments.
